In an unprecedented move for the aquatic rescue sector in Portugal, our ‘Golfinho Rescue’ brand of rescue equipment has entered into a strategic partnership with the Brazilian Association of Civilian Lifeguards (ABRASVIC). The agreement aims to improve the training of professionals and guarantee Brazilian lifeguards access to innovative equipment.
The partnership was signed in November in Coimbra at Golfinho’s headquarters. The main objectives of the collaboration were highlighted, including the supply of equipment for the Training Protocols with the ISN and other training programmes promoted by the association. The partnership agreement also covers the development of new technologies and equipment with a view to optimising water rescue at national and international level.
For both organisations, this agreement represents a significant advance in technical cooperation and the dissemination of good practices in aquatic rescue, allowing for an exchange of knowledge between specialists in the field.
With this partnership, Golfinho Rescue and ABRASVIC reinforce their commitment to safety and the professionalisation of aquatic rescue in Portugal and Brazil, bringing innovation and efficiency to a sector that is essential to preserving human lives.
